Anya’s quilt

I just realized that I didn’t show you the little quilt I made for Anya for her birthday.

This was a pre-printed panel with coordinating fabrics and it was an impulse buy at Quilter’s Corner. They had it all made up and on display and it was soooo cute.

But, since it’s only for her to drag around once she starts walking and play with once she learns what dolls and stuffed animals are all about, it doesn’t matter all that much.

I quilted it with a diamond grid in the field and used one of my machine’s decorative stitches to run a curvy line down the centers of the border along with some SITD for stability.

And this was a project that was perfect for using up some batting scraps and joining them with that Heat Press Batting fuse tape stuff that I blogged about here. It worked great!
