Happy 10th Birthday, Joey!

Our dog was born on 02.02.02. I’ve always thought that was so cool.

Today is his 10th birthday and John and I scheduled a photo shoot last night. We knew it would be difficult, he doesn’t cooperate for the camera. This would be even tougher because I wanted him to wear a party hat.

Here’s a sneak peek at the shoot. He did not want to wear that hat or sit in the chair. (click on the picture to see the animation)

I did get one shot that was a keeper:

I apologize for his scruffiness. He missed his last grooming session because we thought he had kennel cough. His next appointment is Saturday and he’ll be all pretty again. Maybe we can re-create the photo shoot then.
